Both look like absolutely possible. Agreed.

Kings are last overall. Rangers are in the wild card race but started rebuilding last year. Those are great offers for wings who probably are available. I think both get accepted today, but the league doesn't approve them until someone goes on ltir, because you're 4M over the salary cap.

Now, if both are accepted, does Boston want both, or just one?

      Who's a better fit?

I would think Taffoli may be more valuable to this team because of playoff experience. Could be the piece they need to get to the cup.

That being said, Kreider might have a higher ceiling? not sure if NYR or LAK fans agree

It’d be one or the other. So they’d be fine for cap

Yeah, both would command more. Especially Kreider, he's a freak of nature and GMs would bid high in an auction just to keep him off other contenders. Donato and almost 2nd rounder, or Donato, Bjork and almost 3rd. Even that might not be enough?

I believe if the trade return for Kreider is not completely overwhelming, he's not getting traded. With two years left on his contract, I could see NYR waiting until next season's trade deadline and then only trading Kreider if he does not agree to a contract term of (for example) four or less years. Zuccarello, Hayes, and maybe Namestnikov, Zibanejad, Spooner, - smile and several others are available in trade, but I believe a team wil have to overpay some to get Kreider.

You seem to be overvaluing him. A lot.
