A conditional 1st and a 2nd? For Nutivarra? No way. A 2nd would be the max imo.

he's got size and speed with playmaking ability but mostly i over payed because he's on a team leading their division .
sure he's bottom pair but thats with 9 points in 15 games at 24 years old .

if i could get him for a 2nd pick and a prospect i would in a heart beat

You guys really think that highly of Nuti? I'm a Jackets fan and anything above a 3rd round pick for him would be an absolute gift. Are you guys that desperate for a semi-established young D? I mean I wouldn't do it right now considering the Jackets do not have that much defense, which is why he's getting a lot more time. Although I do understand you guys would have anyone over Alzner lmao

Nuti has emerged very quickly in his development and risen up the depth chart in the last 2 years. His play last year is the sole reason CBJ did not sign Johnson & Cole. Jackets made no other changes on defense. Kukan also has risen a bit in the organization, and Harrington also has been solid.

Nuti can play up and down the lineup, and is very comfortable on the right side (his off side).
If you watch him, he is quick, plays good positionally, and reads the play well. He will only get better.
The Jackets know what they have in Nuti.

You being a Jackets fan doesn't qualify you to lend your opinion on player values. If you think he's worth a 3rd at best, maybe you should check out another team

That is a good question. Lehkonen or Peca may be a stretch, but that is probably what it would take.
Honestly it would have to be an offer they couldn’t refuse, because they definitely are not looking to move him. He is locked in on a value contract for 4 years.
Plus, I get the sense that Jarmo is very resolute in his negotiating.

Your choice of Scherbak or McCarron and a 4th, + Schlemko?

I'd actually do Peca, but LD from MTL would have to go the other way too, they'd have too many

"Resolute", more like "I talk to my players and one disagreement and I get frustrated and never speak to them again" I.e. Bob and Panarin this year. Also, Johnson and Cole weren't re-signed due to Nuti, that was only a small part; it was due to Johnson not liking Torts and just being overall ****, and Cole wanting too much for his value. There is no reason the jackets would let 2 veteran D go at this point in time where they are struggling for more than 1 1/2 lines of solid D

Panarin doesn’t want to live in small town Columbus, and Bob wants to break the bank with Carey Price type money, which Jarmo and the Jackets are not going to pay.
Not much to talk about.
