I think this is a pretty darn good trade for both sides. LAK needs younger cost controlled players and PIT really needs a better defender right now. I don't actually advocate for PIT to trade Sprong, but everyone else is saying it's inevitable so kill a few birds with 1 stone. Shed Maatta...Get a quality Dman in return, but it'll cost you a quality prospect.

I agree with you about Sprong. I don't want to see him traded either. Hes playing like he might be cut anytime. So the effort is there but he's gripping the stick and is afraid to make some plays on how own.
