Don't know about Stammer, Lundqvist might not be in because he's a goalie.

I say this as a life long Devils fan and a NYR hater: Lundqvist WILL be a HOF'er. He's never won the Cup...and never will, but he's 7th all time in Wins and won the Vezina in 2011-12, if my memory serves me well. He's had a ton of regular season success despite only reaching the Cup Finals once (2014). I guess it comes down to how much you value Championships. Joe Thornton and Jerome Iginla are almost def in despite never winning. It's a tough call for sure.

Kunitz...No. He's only reached the 60 point mark 3 times in his career and 30G only once, despite playing w/ some incredible offensive talent. He's never won any individual awards and was never really close. I do agree w/ everyone else on your list though. I think Zetterberg gets in b/c of his leadership, clutch play, and his excellent 2-way game. I think Keith gets in too, despite his major drop off over the last couple years. He was named a top 100 player.

I know he's retired now, but what about Patrick Elias? He was the Devils best offensive player of all time. He is their all time leader in just about every offensive category. And he was an integral part of 2 Cup wins and 2 additional Finals appearances. Elias never won any individual awards, but his overall impact should, in my opinion, be enough to get in in the Hall. Again, how much do you value winning and clutch play?

I agree that Bergeron is def in. Especially b/c of how well he's playing into his early to mid 30's. At 33 he's arguably a top 5 Center in the league. He won the Cup and he's probably the greatest defensive Center of his era, assuming Pavel Datsyuk was from a slightly earlier era. Stamkos needs to win the Cup in Tampa in my opinion. And he needs to play a major role in doing so. In other words, he probably has to win the Cup in the next 2-3 seasons. I also think Taylor Hall has the potential to put himself in the discussion. He's gonna need to continue what he did last season for several more years, but I think the has all of the tools. I'd also throw in Pastrnak, Backstrom, Tavares, and Kucherov as potential HOF'ers if things go the right way. They all have the talent, but talent alone isn't enough. They need to win.

2 Maurice rocket Richards, career PPG player, hit 60 goals, Hart nominee, etc...one of the best centres of his era, he’s a lock

Lundqvist has so many vezina top 5 finishes I couldn’t even count. He also is one of the winningest goalies of all time. He gets in

Idk about Z. He was never a “dominant” player, never close to winning any major awards, didn’t reach 1000 career points (close tho). Idk if he’s one of the “best” of his era. Then again I’m sure there’s some players he deserves to be in over.

I would value ellias similar to zetterberg imo. There are certainly arguments to be made but when u think of the “best” players from the late 90s- early 2000’s does ellias come to mind? I would put alfredson in over him. I’m not saying he’s not going to make it, but he’s certainly not a lock

How do I forget chara? Not sure about zetterberg as a “100% lock” but he definitely has a shot. I’d also say EK65**** is getting close to a lock despite no Stanley cups. He’s the best D since lidstrom

Injuries for Stammer. Goalies are hard to predict locks for.

I know, the HOF judges are too stingy on goalies.

I assume you're talking about Zetterberg here? Chara is also called "Z" often.

I also would include Iginla and Datsyuk, neither of whom are currently playing, but both worth mentioning as locks.

He still has lots of time left though. He’s the 2nd best goal scorer of this era

I know, he's career will be short though. He's not the same player. If 5 good seasons will make you a HOFer then we'd nominate Hall or whatever.
