There is absolutely no way Minnesota or Carolina make those trades, lmao

Also Marner will likely be north of 8.5M depending on how good of a season he has

Matthews will likely be closer to 12 as well, if not over 12

Yeah the Minnesota trade isn't likely, I need to add more. Carolina has way too many RHD and Faulk is blocking Fox. It's a good trade. I gave Marner less because it's only a 5 year deal, so no UFA years. Matthews I think is realistic at 11.25.

Plus both of those teams say a hard no.
These trades are 100% one sided for Toronto.
why would Carolina trade Faulk for only a 3rd line player and a 3rd? If his value is only that, then I'm guessing he would have been traded a couple months ago.
I am not even going to talk about the Dumba trade.

Matthews is gonna get McDavid money, if not more. If the Leafs aren't gonna give it to him, do you think a team like Arizona would hesitate? Probably not.

Marner is coming in around Kucherov money. He knows what he's worth, and again, if the Maple Leafs won't pay him, someone will.

Matthews gets at the very least $12 million per, Marner probably $8.5 to $9 million per and Nylander closer to $7.5 million per. Your numbers are way off.
