I think its a bit of a stretch to think that Detroit would trade away Larkin. Not sure how long Zetterberg is going to last and once hes gone there will be a giant hole in Center. And is Kornwall that bad that you would trade him for Marc Staal?

At $3.7M I would.

Also re: Larking...he has not played much C and looks like he could be sticking at Wing long-term.

The point of this post was to say the Wings could look to build up the back-end and reinvent their approach.

There's not a chance the Wings would trade Mr. Michigan, Dylan Larkin. Even to rework the team, that's an absolute farce.

I wholeheartedly disagree. He played Center at Michigan, he played it in the playoffs for the Grand Rapids Griffins, and they've been fairly vocal since Datsyuk is retiring that they want him to have a chance at Center on the second line next season.

"vocal" is a stretch. They said it is a possibility.
