ANA says not. Don't think they want Bernier at all

If Bozak is a 4th line center why didn't you trade him. His value of return would decrease due to lack of ice time. It would be better trading Bozak and either resign Holland or move Laich to center.

I like Bozak as a Leaf. If you go with Nylander and Matthews (I like it) if Kadri gets injured, gee I want Bozak and not Laich or Holland. I like the lineup except maybe Brown and Leivo plays wings and Laich is the 5th centre not Froese.
The Leafs have no need for Hamhuis....I'll take Gardiner, Reilly, Hunwick on the left side starting the season. The trade...I think it's reasonable. Bernier is with the Ducks for just one year. The Ducks might to have either Bibeau or Sparks instead of Gauthier. Don't pay Andersen so much, or wait to next season and see what it brings.

I'm not too sure what other goalies the ducks have in their system but unless they want to rush someone. I'm not a big Bernier fan but at about 2 million hes worth it just to fill in while Gibson is still developing. Bozak on the 4th line isnt ideal for a team strapped for cap space but what it does for the leafs is provide flexibility in the lineup and shelter for the younger guys. As for Hamhuis, if you dont think the leafs needs another top 4 defenseman then youre just expecting them to tank for another year. Hamhuis has experience playing on the top line and is easily and upgrade over Hunwick, Marincin or Carrick. Might be a lot of Andersen but I think thats a higher end estimate. Andersen is a good goalie and is closer to Varlamov than he is to Mason, Halak, Reimer and the other 4 mill goalies.
