Nylander will sign a 2 or 3 year bridge at $6.3M to $7M or a $7M to $7.5M deal for 6 or 7 year deal. There will be no 4 or 5 year deals.

On another note, you have to activate at least 21 players which in your scenario puts TOR over the cap so it's not doable to make all these moves in the current season.

Not a comment on the roster itself, but if you want to make a roster for the 2019-20 season or sign contracts for upcoming free agents, you can select "2019-20" on the screen where you choose your roster's title

No it will be a 1 year deal... the khl... no way the leafs hand over stupid money. We’re not moving the team to Edmonton any time soon.

Isn't it strange that Leafs bashers, offer crap for Nylander in a trade but then think Nylander is entitled to be a top 10 RWer in the league coming off his ELC, if signed by the Leafs.

I just cannot fathom how people over look facts when guessing contracts

Larkin isn't sitting out and holding his team hostage.

How is this Leafs bashing? I offered fair value for Nylander and signed him for that kind of money. That's not bashing that is supporting what i'm saying in my original post here. This also is EXACTLY what the rumors are saying what Nylander's camp will accept.

What's most interesting is there are few Leafs fans on here that want a top 10 D guy for Nylander and yet think everything over $6.5M is too much for the Leafs to sign him. Walking contradiction.

I know it's subjective but 8m? No way is Nylander a top 5 right winger in the league. You really think Nylander won't take less money. He's not getting 8m from any team in any league. I guess he just continues to practice with his sisters varsity team in Austria. There are very few...I can't think of any Leaf fans that suggested Nylander is worth a 10 ten Dman in the league (with the same term).

The Leafs should trade Nylander (with extra lower picks or minor leaguers) for a high draft pick, a junior age prospect, a cheap secondary star player and a rental star player, for this year's playoff push. Phi can make a trade like this happen with their assets.

Nylander will sign a 2 or 3 year bridge at $6.3M to $7M or a $7M to $7.5M deal for 6 or 7 year deal. There will be no 4 or 5 year deals. That's what I think. He's better then JVR and E Kane because of this upside and age; they got $7 right? I think $7.5m times 6 or 7 years is fair, but if I'm TOR, I sign him to a bridge between $6.3 and $7M because there is a lot of questions whether Nylander is good but not great and his numbers are inflated playing next to Matthews. I don't necessarily agree with that but I'd sign him to a bridge for 3 years.

Holding hostage? You must be mistaking, the leafs are rolling without him and hold 100% of the leverage lol
