As far as i'm concerned, Jeff Skinner is only worth $7.5 million per long term. He's had 4 concussions which would be a major concern. And you need at least 4 more players to sign and you're $4.2 million over budget. Not going to work.

I was worried about the concussions before we got him. I understand that concussions tend to get worse and symptoms take longer to go away as you get more, but he has not had one in a few years. He has been durable. Maybe the kinder, gentler nhl will keep guys like skinner from having careers cut short due to asinine head shots.
