I'm just pretending the Oilers got the 2nd overall pick in the 2016 draft for the sake of fun, and seeing how the oil would manage the cap (Dont be commenting that pool party is a bust or whatever not the point of the thread)
Sekera either gets injured again... or he gets traded to whoever will take him with salary retention and oils 2nd round pick.

Laine Will be in Winnipeg for at least another 8 years unless the GM gets one Hell of an offer (Ex. Franchise Defencemen, and Franchise forward) and he is Also RFA! Oilers won’t get to touch him until McDavid is UFA again.
