I feel like you way undervalued Cory Schneider and way overvalued Zuccarello

Schneider sucks. NJ wants him out. A 2nd and a prospect would be good.

As for Zucc, a team as desperate as philly would overpay for him.

I agree with your point a desperate team will overpay for Zucc. Schnieder has had a tough year especially starting with an injury - but he is still a top tier tender. Cant argue that hes had a tough start though which has hurt his value.

Schneider hasn't had a save % of .910 since 2015-2016. Injuries or not, 3 seasons of bad stats and an expensive cap hit have severely diminished his value. NJ would be happy to move out his cap hit and get a 2nd rounder back. Even when he's healthy, he's lost out on the starter position to Kinkaid. The devils are ready to move on from Schneider. If I'm Philly I wouldn't even want to acquire him

Philly has had such bad goaltending over the last 10-15 years, they might as well have a lawn chair in net. Schnieder would be an ugrade over what they have - by far.

Probably, but there are other goalies I'd take a chance on first, since Schneider is on that bad contract for 4 more seasons. Maybe Talbot is available if Edmonton is out of the race? Anders Nilsson is a guy who can get on a hot streak and play amazing at times, I think Vancouver's defence is making him look bad. Both cheaper and much lower risk than taking on 6 million for 4 years. I don't think any team really wants Schneider and his cap hit right now

Philly needs a tender so bad they are willing to take the risk. and with schneider being available its a win/ win
