There's some issues in here...

STL is also in quite similar state than LA... Namely - not a playoff team. I don't think Quick and Martinez are worth 2 great top6 forward prospects, a mid tier goalie and adecent d-man with one year left + 2nd for a team that does not seem to be in the playoff race... You could try to fetch a deal close to that from a real playoff team.

Also DAL wouldn't do that. Carter would be a certain upgrade to the team, but considering his contract, I don't think it would be worth for Dallas to take that...

And that MTL trade. In my opinion, it's quite bad for LA. An AHL d-man with a horrible contract, two mediocre prospects and two firsts for a top line D in most teams? I think LA could do better than that.

However, that COL trade is really interesting though. With that salary retained, it'd be possible to do money-wise.

These were actually the trades I made in a GM Game. Probably isn't too realistic or anything.

I also traded Doughty in a deal for Ottawa's 1st, Zadorov, Kaut, and Andrighetto, but the game's commissioners vetoed the deal because of Doughty's NMC.
