Utterly appalling offer for Parayko unless those picks are your next two firsts (Oh that's right you don't have a 2019 1st, so it would have to be two in 2020 lol) and the ones STL are sending are scrubs they want to dump, and that is the definition of how NOT to build a hockey team in the cap era!

Woah y'all need to chill. This isn't the whole trade obviously. I just thought that if St Louis is rebuilding/retooling they can get a package from Ottawa for him.
We have a lot of solid prospects that can be added like Logan Brown (11th overall 2016) and Josh Norris (19th overall 2017) and we have a first next year plus San Jose's first which is this year or next.

Like I get he's good but 6 first round picks lol

Why would Ottawa give up more to get Parayko then they did to trade up someone like Karlsson? Ottawa has a better chance of picking off of teams like LA (Muzzin/Forbert) even though they shouldn't and just stay the course of a rebuild (trade Dzingel for picks and prospects and Ceci for pucks). St-Louis fans have every right to ask for Chabot when it comes to Parayko. He's a top 2 D-man if it weren't for Pietrangelo. If St-Louis were to rebuild, they would trade Pietrangelo before Parayko.
