Description
Elliot Friedman mentioned today that Stamkos and Tavares are very good friends. He's just speculating but what about the Isles getting in the Stamkos sweepstakes.
The Isles are getting new ownership so maybe they want to make a statement. With the Rangers looking to have peaked maybe the Isles can be the team in New York at least for a while.
The Harmonic, Grabovski trade was for RFA Lowry, Dman prospect Kostalek and Chicago's first rounder. Player wise not value for the Isles, but getting rid of Grabovski helps the cap to obtain Stamkos.
