I don't even feel like this trade is close to value needed to get Drouin. I'm not saying he's worth the moon, just that he's very valuable to MTL right now, which means I don't think anything NJ are willing to offer would cut it for Bergevin (Hall or Hischier would never be included in a deal anyway).

The fact that he's a french canadian in a french canadian market, is young, has a ton of potential and is playing well right now makes him almost unmovable for Bergevin I believe, as irrational that may be.

I will not argue that. I mainly want to get NJ's fans' feedback on wether they'd give up that package for Drouin. Domi can play LW, and with Suzuki and Poehling in the pipeline, I'm hoping they, along with Kotkaniemi and Danault to complete my C core. If McLeod pans out, he'd be another C option and perhaps slot Suzuki on RW.
