The biggest employer downtown Seattle is Amazon. So I like the Seattle Amazons. The sweater will have beautiful blonde woman front and back. Most distracting to opposing players and a real fan favourite, well at the least the male fans.

I'm sure Jeff Bezos will appreciate all the free advertising. Red Bull will probably have a conniption.
But seriously, this is a terrible idea.
Realignment was approved for Arizona to shift to the Central division. I wonder if it would make more sense to move Colorado to the Pacific and Edmonton/Calgary to Central.

that idea seems good. I've also seen proposals for an 8-division league of 4 teams each, which I'm all down for. The only thing that gets complained about with re-alignment is "but muh rivalries," which... I'm generally more about maintaining geographic rivalries (e.g. Penguins-Flyers); my goal behind re-alignment would be to cut down on travel times and also minimize time zone cross-over. Any history-based rivalries, I don't especially care much about; I don't personally give a whit about hockey history.

I thought of an awesome name for Seattle that fits Pacific North West perfectly... I know I posted about KRaken/s... So wanted to reply here to not just make another new post... I stumbled on this making a zone for a MUD if anybody wonders why its so random...
Seattle Chinooks or Chinook... Chinooks would be great since they would have a rivalry with Canucks so the name would add spice to it all . For those who don't live in Canada or wonder what it means... Chinooks are basically snow eaters or called snow eaters depending on who ask or region... Maybe its a Fohn, basically they are warmer winds that come into contact with arctic making things warm up... They can melt a foot of snow in about a day for example... MElting it or via other methods... Anyways I think it would be really cool...
Seattle Chinooks if I can't get Kraken, that would be original/fit region have a lot of ties to 1st nation or "native" people... Since it ties into their legend or myths if are into that kinda stuff... So it would be a way to honor them without a silly name like Totems which would be mocked as scrotums besides not being original or cool . I've not seen anybody else suggest Chinooks so maybe I'm just crazy .
The teams in the new Central Division are going to have a brutal travel schedule. South/West Phoenix to North Winnipeg to East Nashville. With Dallas, Colorado, Minni, Chicago, St Louis
