You do understand that its not real right? Everyone on here has a bias, there are of course some who are worse than others. The key is to ignore as much as you can and try to converse with people who enjoy hockey more than they love a specific team or player. Those people will generally be open to a positive discussion. Denouncing entire fan bases because someone sometime made a trade that involved your favourite player that you didn't like is an emotional response that doesn't really help you or anything you are trying to get across.

Homers are a thing and they'll always exist and while it is silly, its harmless and not stupid just misguided. I don't have problems with homers, its understandable. I don't get mad at them, like many others do. I just don't bother discussing things with homers, they aren't rational so its a fruitless exercise.
