LD for right now or LD for the future? Kylington is one of Calgary's best trade chips at the moment, I just don't know what CGY would want from Montreal that isn't Gallagher

I would only do the PIT trade a the end of the year, maybe at the draft. Danault is our only good faceoff center right now. Next year KK, Suzuki, Poehling gonna come up big.

From a Habs perspective, Danault is not easy to replace. KK has a lot of learning to do in the faceoff circles, Poehling will be a rookie and Suzuki is, in my opinion, going to be a RW (taking the occasional important faceoff). Danault is an integral part of this team for those reasons and I don't think Maata is enough of a game changer. Games are won in the faceoff circle

Agreed, but since KK and Poehling are bound to become 1st and 2nd line centers, I'd take Sheahan as a 3rd any day of the week. Plus, his FO% isn't so far from Danault, he too is around 50% every season. Plus, they're about the same age.

So again, Danault and low picks for a good young top 4 D and a similar centerman... To me it's an easy yes! smile
