sorry, you're gonna be stuck with the Zaitzev contract. rangers already have shattenkirk, deangelo, pionk, mcquaid and smith for the right side, why throw another sub par defenseman in that group

I have a feeling that teams around the league value Zaitsev. He doesn’t suck without the puck.

Certainly not a piece that rangers want but I’m not sure why zaitsev takes so much heat he’s been solid. Also not sure why everyone is trying to trade him either. If it’s for cap reasons that’s different... but to tack on another 2.5m... yuck.

Hes not worth his contract. Thats why he gets heat. Hes not a $4M player and hes on the team for 6 more years. Have to dump him for cap reasons
