Colorado will manage the cap. They've got a couple big players to pay. But they're in a really good position with the cap, they'll manage. No way a team would retain 3 million for 5 years on an elite sniper.

Not a hope of Colorado giving that much up for a mis-firing sniper. They'd probably make a REASONABLE trade for Tarasenko because he could turn it around, is best buddies with Vary and might be a reason for Varly to re-sign at a discount, but it would have to be something not as ridiculous as this!
