kyrou and liljegren are very debatable but I think Parayko is worth a little more than Nylander in terms of trade value. and that's maybe a drop from 25ish to 65ish in the draft, nothing huge.

Depends on how you look at it. Come next year, Kyrou and Grundstrom would be a lot cheaper than Kapanen and Johnsson. Then there would be another cheap/ELC year, then you bridge them. After watching Kapanen and Kyrou quite a bit, I'm not sure you're losing anything in that swap - very similar players - you're just pushing the rise in salary two years into the future.

I'm still not convinced it's a good enough return for STL, especially with Zaitsev taking up all our cap space.

honestly, kappanen and johnsson are easily replaceable. we have plenty of wingers in the marlies, 2-3 easily ready for call-up no problem. we're good

i think having just signing nylander, i dont think he'll be traded. but, its a decent counter proposal. i figured adding both kappy and johnsson would equal the value of a nylander. ones already a top 6, and one could be a potential top 6 with the right linemates. but, totally fair to ask for nylander
