No interest from Boston.

Backes isn't waiving and their not giving up 3 good young players for two rentals.

Boston says No. calls you back and laughs. says yes, but are only kidding.

Zuccarello is not good. He doesn't have much value.
Hayes is ok, but is really a rental.

Bruins are not giving up Frederic and Vaakanainen (& Bjork) for Hayes.

60 point player multiple seasons in a row a top 6 on any team and a 2nd line center thats used as a shutdown that produces between 50-60 points yeah they are worth more than a 1 st each.

Sure Zuc is a multi 60 point guy, but he's an undersized left shot winger and Boston has a ton of those already. Zuc is also a UFA at the end of the season and would be a pure rental for Boston (probably wouldn't re-sign him). Hayes is a fringe #2C, but with his families history and the Bruins, Boston wont touch him.

Boston is very high on Vaak and see him as McAvoy's future partner on the top pairing.

I think he almost hit 50 a few years back. Technically though he's never hit over 49 points.

im just poking fun at you man.. you could/should have just said 40-50 point player - because that'd be accurate. But everyone always does that roundup thing and add 5-10 points and say that's what a player is just to make him sound better.

What are you talking about? None of your facts are true.

with your current logic Krejci is a lock for 70pts

Here is the thing. The Rangers have been bad for a couple years in a row now. Why? Because they aren't that good.

Zuccarelo has not hit 60pts multiple seasons. He did it once. One time. In a contract year in which he had 26 goals. 30% higher than any other season for goal production. Also happened to have his career high in shooting percentage up 5% from his career.

This just seems like an incredibly lazy way of getting a whole bunch of prospects. Such an easy no from Boston

he got benched the other 2 seasons the last few games before the playoffs at 59 points without a doubt he couldve gotten 60+ and was on pace for 60+ but nyr wanted to prevent injuries and he is a playmaker not a sniper.

he has been on pace for 50+ multiple seasons but injuries/benching before playoffs by teams does not mean the player has less value.

ok, still never reached 60. It would be like calling Marchand a 40 goal scorer because he came close, but lost games to suspension.

Also a couple telling things here... They need a scorer, not a set up man. He had exactly one more goal and two more points than Rick Nash did in the playoffs last time they made it, and all I heard was how much of a bum Nash was. hmm...

Also - he is not top 6 on every team, not even close. I would argue that if he is, you are not a playoff team. I am not sure he would be in the Bruins who are in need of offense.

Heinen had 16g and 31a last year - Zuccarello 16g 37a - All things being even. I think they go with the 22 year old who has been in their system vs. 31 year old rental.

with 49 in 76 so in 6 games not getting 1 point seems quite possible.

Look who zucc had has linemates his entire career, he has carried his lines since he's been with nyr and he had a down year with nyr rebuilding as any player would when the team finishes bottem 10 and trades away players for picks.
