Bingo, and that’s why Montreal is not a good partner for the Blues.

Exactly! If i'm the blues i'm gonna ask for even more from the us (The Habs). Definitely not great trade partners unless it's more of a depth type trade

In fact, Habs aren't good trading partners with anybody. We're rebuilding and just cause we're doing decently well, that doesn't mean you sacrifice the future. There are moves that could be made that won't cost us our top picks or prospects but we won't land a world class player like Tarasenko by not giving up Kotkaniemi, Suzuki, Brook etc.

I wouldn't call Tarasenko world class....elite perhaps but not world class. I think everyone will be disappointed in what the return will be if he is traded however.

At one point he was, I don’t know what’s happened to him.

Everybody struggles at one point in their career. Rough season on a struggling team. It happens.

The guy is still a sniper and a consistent 35+ goal and 65+ points scorer. I wouldn't be too worried about him and I definitely wouldn't think much of his season so far. Players with his talent don't just stop being good right
