This may be the most sensible GM I’ve ever seen. Looks good and the trades aren’t ridiculous like you see most of the time. I doubt PHI would trade Hart though, but Ghost and 1st for Kane I could see. Maybe another pick or prospect from PHI. Also unsure Panarin would want to go back if Kaner wasn’t there. But all in all I like it.

It's a good starting point, but for Chicago to trade Kane and make it worth it, they need a little more. Kane is still a franchise cornerstone.

Philadelphia would likely easily pass on it though because those assets and that draft pick are valued quite high.

Reason I picked Phili for this is 2 fold....#1, Hawks need a future goalie, #2...if coach Q lands in Phili he may require this... imagine the forward lines in Phili with Kane on the team. Thanks for the feedback on it!!!

Don't think Philly is the team to want Kane. They've got plenty of good wingers. What they need is Dmen and goaltending. So it just doesn't make sense for them

Kane has a NMC on his contract and would need to sign off on any trade. Philly doesn't seem to be a good fit. Not for just the reasons provided above but Kane wants to play for winners. Philly has been very mediocre. Almost the Oilers of the East. This would further weaken the Flyers more than help them.

So Stone signs for less in Chicago then what he's currently making now, Yeah don't think so Stone will get at least 7 x 8.5 and Panarin 7 x 10.5 you're way off on both players.

I see these huge numbers being floated around for some of these guys on here and all I can say is that I think you are nuts...perhaps I was a little low on Stone....but at 10.5 million for Panarin, he would be the highest paid LW by 1 million over Benn and Ovechkin. I think 9.5 for him is probably spot on, but you are right about Stone...8.5 is probably right.

BTW, just read the following trade rumor (also that it wasn't likely)....Kane for Sam Reinhart, Jason Pominville, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, Brendan Guhle, Victor Olofsson, and 3 1st round picks.
