Change Heinen to DeBrusk and it's okay. Steen needs to go in some other trade though.

Also need liljegren coming back in the Toronto deal as Borgman isn't a good enough prospect.

Dought the Bruins would move DeBrusk. And yeah I could definitely see the Blues selling Marron and / or Steen at the deadline for picks

Not good enough pieces coming back in either trade.
BOS trade you are giving a 1st to take Backes so then the trade for Tarasenko is Heinen, Vaak and a 2nd.. not enough value.

TOR trade is close but the Blues would want higher quality and less quantity IMO

Petro for 1st, Lijgren and Zaitsev would be my counter. A replacement for Petro now in Zaitsev and one in the future for Lijgren plus a 1st.
It is simiar to what trades look like at the deadline but the prospect is higher quality because Petro would be a year long rental not just one for playoffs.

Backes can still play so a 1st I think is more than enough compensation. Also, the Leafs are not trading Kapanen, Liljegren or Sandin from my understanding. Obviously the more we can get in these kinds of trades the better, but I am trying to be realistic.

Backes makes Steen look like an All-Star. He's done.

Heinen is a throw in.

Vaakanainen is a complete unknown and nobody knows how he'll perform.

The 1st and 2nd are just meh.

All this for Tarasenko??

Teams would be willing to part with a whole lot more than a package like this.

That offer for Pietrangelo is something the Blues could get at next year's TDL if they absolutely had to move him. Why would they settle for giving him away for 2 Cup runs for that?

kapanen, debrusk etc. are not available. Blues are better off in the long run with this kind of trade

Heinen I see as a future top 6 forward. He had 47 points last year. Vaakanienen was a 1st round pick. I've tried debrusk and Carlo but Bruins fans said No. As for the Pietrangelo trade, I think this is more realistic than the trades involving Kapanen and Liljegren, espicially given Pietrangelo's recent decline and injury problems.

As a Bruins fan, I'm all over this. Heinen is a solid 3rd liner. (Some people think more than that but I don't). Urho is going to be a top 4 D. And Bruins get rid of the Backes contract. Sweet. No way Debrusk gets traded, it would just create another hole on the 2nd line.

Do you think the value is fair or no? I think so. No way you trade DeBrusk or Carlo
