Would be hard to turn down but I'd at least ask about Necas before taking that. Maybe Pesce + Necas + 1st and the Canes can keep more of the farm.

This would depend on when it's done. If Carolina does this and it doesn't fix anything then your giving up what's probably a top 10 pick, that's when the value goes either way. Plus Tarasenko hasnt exactly looked like the next generation of goal scorer everyone thought he was about to turn into so teams betting this much in him may hesitate

I think it's the right team (Carolina) but it's too big price for Carolina to pay, as that still looks like a lottery pick.
