DISCLAIMER: I don't want Buffalo to trade anyone at the deadline and this is crazy to empty the cupboard like that. But, if you're going to go for it, go for it. Don't trade assets for Kevin Hayes. Please explain how you would sign these players in the offseason... one rental seems reasonable, but you are losing a lot of valuable assets by doing this (Picks, Prospects).

i don't think we'd re-sign any of them. they are all rentals and we wouldn't have the cap space beyond maybe one of them. maybe a deep playoff run would help ingratiate them to the team where maybe stone or duchene would stay for the right price. just a thursday afternoon thought provoker. i know i'd brown my pants if we did this at the deadline.

Well its all kind of moot when the trades aren't even fair to begin with. Those 3 pending UFA's are the best of the best the past 10 years outside trading for Tavares @ last years TDL .
