How on Earth would this help Dallas? I don't know if you've but Dallas has a hard time scoring goals and losing Radulov would implode the team. Value wise it's ok though.

At this point, I'm just hoping that we're able to lock him in with something that only starts with a 9. If we can convince him to take the Kucherov deal & he doesn't want 10+ per, I'll be thrilled.

A) this was just to help visualize our financial possibilities if there was a trade out there that swapped Jost with a pair of 2nds or a 2nd & 3rd for the kind of guy that we pray Jost develops into...or an upgrade even on that, as I'll take Sasha over the early-Minnesota-era Parise that Jost has the potential to become once he's done filling out, polishing his stride, and gets his confidence at the NHL level once finally paired with a highend Center.

B) Radu is my favorite hockey player, so at the time I was hoping that the stars would totally implode and decide to re-align their timeline around Heiskanen...and so wanting to turn a guy who's a decade older than the young Finn, into a kid closer to Miro's age who is growing into a skilled scoring line winger with a good two-way game + some useful (though not premium) picks to throw at some high upside projects. But unfortunately you guys just had to keep being a good hockey team...jerks...
