Mcdavid would probably play for team canada. Matthews, Eichel, and Tkachuk would probably play for USA

Is it going to be the same as the last one? Team North America is 25 or younger?

I'm pretty sure all eligible players have to play, but I could be mistaken.

Im guessing you mean anyone under 25 has to play for NA? I don’t think that’s true, if I remember correctly last World Cup mcdavid was mad he wasn’t selected for Canada

Nah they had to play for the North America team.

I don’t think they’re doing team NA in 2020

The plan is to replace North Anerica and Europe with 2 countries that qualify from a separate tournament.

Sad. They should take Czech out (based on how they did in 2016's tournament) and combine them with Europe, then have Europe u23 (as all countries including Russia, Sweden, etc.) be a thing. Would be very interesting to see NA u23 vs EU u23.

They were hoping to have a North America v. Europe best of 3 or 5 series in between World Cups. Originally they were thinking this year. Won’t happen til 22 now if at all. But each would take place every 4 years. WC in 20. Series in 22. WC in 24. Series in 26. etc.
