Lines when healthy

Team: 2018-19 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Dec. 9, 2018
Published: Dec. 23, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Really want to see Bjork get another shot on the top line.

Nordstrom/Cave/Backes could also be Kuraly/Wagner/Acciari.

Miller and Moore could be interchangeable. I have Miller to balance out the handedness on D.

Boston is doing Donato a disservice putting him on a 3rd line. He's just not that kind of player. They should put him on the 1st line RW with Brad or DeBrusk and Bergy. Bergy will win the face offs and keep them in possession of the puck and hopefully in the offensive zone and help hide any defensive issues. The kids a goal scorer, sticking him down on lines that lack the high end talent isn't gonna help him. And for what, to play Bjork there who has 1 goal in like 20 some games. It's a total waste. They are gonna end up trading him if they don't use him and they won't get the return people would think for him when they do at this rate.

All valid points. My reasoning was that I've liked the look of the "kid line" he past few games. Obviously scratching JFK vs Nashville didn't help very much, but I'd like to keep that line together for the time being. As for Bjork, he played with Bergy and Marchy at the beginning of last year before his injury to some success, and I think he deserves another shot in that spot. If he doesn't pan out, however, Donato is the next man up in my opinion.

Scratching John Moore is a huge mistake. He has been one of our best D this year. Giving you at least 2 stars because you have Krug on the 3rd pairing. Use him sparingly and on the power play is the best way to use Krug, so I agree with that.

I agree he's been good, but not better than Grizz, Carlo, or McAvoy, and as I said in the description, Moore and Miller could be swapped.

Agree on Krug; a crime on Sweeney he still around; him and Backes. The bottom line on Bs forwards .. other than top 3 .. is they just aren't that good. Serviceable at best. Making matters worse is Tampa and Toronto are division locks for years. Instead of trying lineups like above.. trade 2 of young guys for 1 proven wing and do it like 3 times. Start over. I like the D for now and Moore. Trading Rask at deadline also should bring more scoring; if not Bruins could be in trouble for next decade and hoping the young guys get better .. which they won't.
