DeBrincat is on the 3rd, Kahun is skating with Toews and Saad and essentially getting first line minutes.

while I think DeBrincat is important to resign. Lets be honest some of those players listed you are getting a massive upgrade on.

Where is the upgrade coming from if you don't have any cap? Your suddenly going to get prospects to fill 4 roster spots including the starting goalie, 2 top 6 forwards and a top 4 defenseman?

Some players are worth paying for. Stone I think is one of them. I'm not saying you sign them all, but swapping out Stone for one of those forwards is clearly an upgrade.
