So Anaheim is the 2nd WC ahead of Dallas but Dallas makes the playoffs instead?

Something tells me NYI is going to beat MTL for that last wildcard spot.

Also, if you are going to have MB as a finalist for GM of the year, why not CJ? He has completely changed the teams play style, dominating teams pretty much every night without an Elite Carey Price?

I know I'm biased but with the possible emergence of Blackwood in goal for NJD I think the Devils will finish 5th in the Metro. I'd rather they got a better chance at a top 5 draft pick but they should have a better second half than NYR, CAR, and PHI.
I also like NSH to surge in the Central. They've been pretty decimated by injuries through the first half and they have too much talent not to be around 105-110 points at the end of the regular season.

Here are 10 bold predictions (Some more bold than others):

1. BUF will miss the playoffs.
2. BOS will finish 2nd in the Atlantic...if Bergeron stays healthy.
3. Four Canadian teams will qualify for the playoffs (TOR, WPG, CGY, & EDM).
4. OTT will finish 31st overall.
5. TBL will win the President's Trophy w/ over 125 points.
6. NYI will make the playoffs despite losing their franchise star John Tavares to free agency.
7. Nikita Kucherov will win the Art Ross and the Hart after scoring a ridiculous 115+ points.
8. Fleury will win the Vezina w/ 40+ W's and 10+ SO's.
9. Rasmus Dahlin will finish 3rd in the Calder race, behind Elias Pettersson and Miro Heiskanen.
10. A Canadian team (TOR or WPG) will win the Stanley Cup for the first time since 1993 (MTL).

Dahlin is definitely better than Heiskanen in an all around sense, but Heiskanen is in a better position to put up bigger offensive numbers this season w/ DAL. He benefits from exposure to one of the top lines in the league and he's a year older. His offensive instincts are superb and I know PHI is kicking themselves for taking Nolan Patrick 2nd overall in 2017.

As for BUF missing the playoffs, I think 4 teams from each division make the playoffs in the East and the Atlantic will be comprised of TBL, BOS, TOR, and MTL. I meant to include 5 Canadian teams in the my 3rd prediction.

Because they're only 6 points behind EDM for 20th place with 40 games still to play. Haha!
