The basic dynamic of Habs selling, though they're doing well, 4 now, is refreshing.
Getting out from under Price's cap hit would be more than enough 2 constitute true progress.

I can't believe any team would give up so much for this version of Carey Price. Lots of UFA goalies available this summer that should be adequate.
Leafs would be very tempted with the Petry deal. The retention is necessary for the Leafs, but Horton's LTIR is meaningless cap hit wise now. Why is he traded so much?
