I dont think Dallas would do this. Seguin is elite and we aren't giving enough back.

From my point of view here's who's expendable on the nucks, Goldy Eriksson Leivo Granlund Sutter Schaller del zotto pouliot. And I don't think if u trade them all youd get Seguin.

1) Edler or Tanev would need to be involved
2) 1st or 2nd which I wouldn't give the 1st
3) I'd add Goldy and/Leivo
4) middle end prospect

So let's say Edler/Tanev + 2nd + Goldy + Leivo + Lind

Ha no. The only way you're getting Seguin is if Hughes or Boeser is involved and knowing Canucks fans that isn't happening.

I dont think it works either.. Im more or less proving a point here. Dallas is not going to get the type of return they want for Seguin. I see Stars fans asking for 4 first round picks for this guy and its a joke.. Id give up twice as much for Jamie Benn. But Seguin? Guy is known to have character issues, maybe hes matured by now but this is still a guy I dobt think anyone is going to sell the farm for.

Also, let's not forget that GMJB was part of the management group that traded Seguin out of Boston. I highly doubt a trade like that happens without all management on the same page, so i would assume it is safe to say that GMJB is not a huge fan of Seguin.

As far as the trade package goes, i do not think he warrants 2 contributing roster players, a lottery 1st, and a prospect. I really do believe that the CapFriendly group vastly underestimate the value of a top 10 pick, which is where the Canucks will end up picking IMO.
