Description

Id like it if jarry and maatta and maybe some other prospect or player were traded along with a high draft pick or two for Tarasenko or dadonov as a blockbuster.

These could be playoff lines to make it hard for other teams to match up but in reality dadonov and kessel should be on the top lines.

I think Pens fans should really appreciate my post because if a GM actually made similar trades to these at the deadline. It clears up cap space, acquires dadonov for the next 2 years and more if hes resigned, and it adds cheap reliable players for our bottom lines all while giving up pieces that shouldnt leave fans devastated.

We could possibly have around 17 million in cap space to resign all the contracts that are running out up there ^ excluding Brassard since its too expensive to keep him

if Dadonov comes with an extension I'm ok with it. But I highly doubt FL is willing to trade him.

I also don't like the idea of splitting up JJ and Pettersson. He's the only player who's been able to actually turn that situation around. Leave good enough a lone there.

Agreed. Pens are playing great hockey. No need for any blockbuster trades, especially with Schultz coming back soon

He's started walking without the crutches from what I have heard. But has a slight limp. Probably from lacking range of motion in the ankle. A few weeks of stretching followed by a few weeks of balance and strengthening and he'll be back.

The difference in this trade isn't Addison. I don't even know where you come up with this crap.
FL isn't going to trade him because he's part of their young core. Adding Addison doesn't change that fact. The value of the trade is clearly already there.

Apparently Ottawas GM, Pierre Dorion waived him and traded him to send a message to their coach, Guy Boucher, placing one of his favourites on waivers.
