Schenn isn't leaving the Blues, it doesn't matter what you offer.

Crosby (not that I'd do that or any one with any kind of sense but just to prove a point)

I guess if you want to wake up on the end of a noose you could try that.

"For Oilers GM Glen Sather, taking a back seat was a voluntary move. From the moment he heard Gretzky was being traded, he refused to participate in negotiations."

No one wants to be Peter Pocklington.

That's a given. What would you take for Crosby?

I wouldn't. It's not worth pissing off the fan base. Some things are just the way they are. He will retire a penguin. I'm ok with that.

As a Chicago fan why would you give up Jarry for Edjsell?

I'm with ya on that, but if you were to listen to offers, what would it take?

With the emergence of DeSmith as a bonafide backup, Jarry becomes expendable. Edjsell looks like he could become the 3rd line C this team needs. In the above scenario it's a best case that Appleton fills the needs for offense better than Edjsell for the 3rd line.

Pens need depth at C and CHI needs a goalie to emerge (Delia, Jarry or Forsberg) after Crawford retires...hopefully sooner than later for his sake.

SO as always, you are just another blowhard who thinks they know everything because they filled water bottles for some defunct QJMHL team that thinks they have what it takes to be an ACTUAL NHL GM ( Pharrow - GM in the making)... Good luck nummers

It's hard to say. I understand he's not 26 anymore. He only has a few good years left in him. To figure out the value of that probably isn't what most people would expect.
Maybe 2 first round picks and 1-3 good young A+ prospects depending on their level of ability I think would be a fair trade. It would depend how good they are. I think if you could land a Jack Hughes and 2 1st round picks maybe it's worth it. There is no guarantee Hughes will ever be that level but you can hope he is good enough to be worth the risk. The 1st help if he's not and to make up for the gamble. Now do I think a team would offer that for him. Probably not unless they are right there on the brink of a cup for the next 3-4 years. At which point they don't have a Hughes to trade.
