At least they can bury Alzner in the minors and get some cap relief. Players like Phaneuf and Lucic with NMC aren't able to be demoted to the AHL.

It's a two horse race between Seabrook and Lucic, but I have to go with Lucic.

In that battle I would go with Seabrook. He's got an extra year, he costs more annually, and he's worse.

Bobby Ryan’s is tough because the guy can’t stay healthy, but his injuries aren’t enough to land him on LTIR.

Jack Johnson was maybe the worst signing, but not the worst contract, if that makes sense? Five years is pretty insane to me, but it's not a big money contract. Worst case scenario, you can bury that contract.

no where near as bad as the Lucic deal. Not even close. 6 million a year, what were they thinking. It's almost as long too.

I think the Parise or Lucic deal has to be the worst.
What were they thinking paying Parise till he's 40. He must have been related to the person making the deal or something.

Holy ****, I had no idea Parise was still up for 7 years. I was just wondering why people didnt like him considering he was still producing well at 34. The last 4-6 years of that contract are gonna bring hell to the wilds front office

I have to say Lucic just because it has a full nmc, cant be bought out, has a bonus for the lockout season so he is protected and is basically set up that they can never move him

Hate to say it, but it could easily be Price right now. 8 years at 10.5 is pretty bad

I almost picked that one over Parise. But he'll still be younger than Parise when his contract ends and maybe MTL can get a few decent years out of him. But if he doesn't turn it around that might be the worst.
