Penguins may accept that and run. Depends what other offers they can swing at deadline. But that isn't much to give up for a guy who could contribute.

Would a third a seventh be more fair to both sides?

It's hard to say. Rental, low point guy but you think with more talent around him he plays better.
He does fit the bill as being able to play LW which is the need. I'm just not sure if they wouldn't swing a bigger deal for more impact.
But as is it's low risk which is why I think they would go for it if they didn't find a bigger deal.

Yes, though I'd rather package Tanev for an guy like Fabbro, Fox, etc. as this draft isn't particularly deep at RD. I love the Edler trade, and the Granlund trade is even too. I would't mind shopping Sutter too, even if it's in the offseason.
