Description
The risto trade can be made with paryako too. It’s more of a cap space move in order for the caps to keep burky and trade for senko. I think the value for the senko and jaskin trade are both fair. The risto trade I could see the sabres or blues asking for a first since he’s only 24 on a good contract. However this trade also gives the Sabres depth and a pick for the future since they are still rebuilding, even though they are almost done it will speed up the process giving them 4 first round picks and 2 second round picks in the next 2 years.

Like the idea...but...Without salary retention included, I still think the senko trade would be short. With...well, way off. Would be hard rotating Senko, Wilson and Oshie...someone would get the short end of the stick minutes wise. Love me some Senko tho. smile The Risto trade is probably pretty close...but do we REALLY need to take a chance on Risto fitting in by giving up an above average RHD who we know CAN(not right now) play our system well?

I forgot to change the lines but I would put senko on the third line wih Eller and burky. This move is supposed to get burky going that way we have 3 scary lines to match the pens for ploffs. Senko woudk also help the 2nd po unite consisting of senko, Vrána, risto, Eller and burky. I’d put risto 2nd pairing with kemp. I guess maybe add a 3rd and 5th or a 2nd to the senko trade. In all, this team would be scary af

What part of Gersich, Johansen, Smith-Pelly, and a #30ish gets even close to getting Tarasenko straight up, much less the 50% retained?

What part of that package makes STL want to send Tarasenko the other way, even without the retention? Johansen? No.

Would you trade Kuznetsov (with $3.9M retained) for a potential bottom-6 F, a semi-solid D prospect, a UFA 4th liner and a #30ish pick? No. Would you trade Kuznetsov WITHOUT the retention for that package? No.
