Description

I like Miller but there are two challenges next year. How to pay Point and we only have one RD signed. We are so deep at forward and have several strong prospects Miller is a luxury.

You'd get Faulk retained for that and a pick. Miller isn't dump. He's a 25 year old 50-60 point scorer. He honestly has more value than Zucker.

MTL would give you Petry (1M retain)+ Hudon (or a 2nd) for JT.Miller

Did not say Miller is a dump, just that someone must go at forward and most have NTC for this year and next. Our need is right side stay at home defense for next year. Miller has a lot of value: reasonable contract, twenty goal power forward, plays all three positions. Koekkoek just added to get something and move a defensemen. I see he has potential but the coaches disagree.

He will be traded after the season but before NTC kicks in likely for some ELC contracts, I've had Miller for Puljujarvi and Bear

We need to pay point in the area of 8-8.5 per year up from .7. Stralman my be worth more than 4 on the open market, that is why I turned to cheaper option.
