Yeah I think Drouin is way under value in this trade. He is producing and has great chemistry with domi. But I agree if he’d stop stickhandling at the offensive blue line I think he’d be way better. It’s very rare that he can pull it off.

So, just to let you guys know - typically in ANY team, the best offensive players lead the team in giveaways (turnovers). Why? Because they have the puck more often. PERIOD. This is a mistakes' game.

Here's a homework for you, go see the list of top giveaway players (GV) for this year in the NHL - You'll find Johnny Gaudreau, Evgeni Malkin, Pastrnak, Draisaitl and Doughty in the top 10, Barzal, Kucherov, Getzlaf in the top 20. Should their teams trade them?

By the way, Danault's got more turnovers than Drouin : 26 to 24 this season. Which puts Drouin at the 188th position in the NHL. Hell, McDavid's got more turnovers than Drouin.

That is just a plain bad analysis of the situation guys.

its not that hes getting turn over its how he gets them, trying to dangle 1 on 3 is unnecessary. its super clear when your watching him play. and trading danault makes sense because he has value to a playoff team and the team is still "retooling" with good centers in the minors. lol have fun with your turn over states. be the first to start www.turnoverfriendly.com

He's talented, he dangles the puck. I'd rather see him try -

Would you tell Kucherov to stop dangling because he gets turnovers? No offense, but I don't get that logic at all.

Thats not the point Kucherov is 10x better than him and doesn’t make dumb dekes at the blueline thats gonna create turnovers- kuch will make a good pass and TAKE A HIT TO MAKE A PLAY Unlike Drouin
