I think Nashville is on Kronwall's list. Even if traded he still may retire at the end of the season but winning another cup could change that. The trade proposal: Detroit is rebuilding and and has started to move some of the older players out. It's the reason Jensen hasn't been offered an extension and he's 28. Detroit really has no place for Yannick Webber.
Maybe a younger player or just draft picks. It is a fair offer and if we were in a different stage of our rebuild Weber might have a place.

I know we can't and shouldn't take past trades into consideration when talking about future trades...it's just surprising what NSH will end up giving up for half a year of Simmonds if NSH includes Hartman. Essentially (2) 1sts, (2) solid prospects, and Carrier. I guess it's just the price you pay for the Cup. Other recent cups winners have given up multiple 1sts too.

Overpaiment on Simmond deal. Remove Hartman and then OK. Now Simmonds isn't elite forward, he will never score 30+ goals again, so it is overpaiment. And yes, look at his PM, NSH do not need one more guy that like to seet on the bench, they have RJ and PK.
