Here's the thing. Burakovsky's ceiling is clearly way higher than DSP's, that's not even debatable, but Burakovsky's floor is also much lower than DSP's and recently the Caps have been getting a lot of bad performances from him. He constantly takes horrendous stick penalties in the offensive zone and him just falling asleep mid shift against the Flyers led to their first goal of the game. I get it, the upside is high for Burakovsky, but until he starts to string some consistent performances together, DSP is the better option.
