That would be an easy no. Niskanen is older and worse than Pietrangelo and there’s no interest in Burakovsky or Bowey.

And don’t discredit fabbri either. He’s had some injury issues; but I still think he can be a very good middle 6 forward

Burakovsky seems to be a malcontent with some talent but not blow you away, hope his attitude changes with a change talent. Big no. Blues have enough locker room headaches as well as a number of guys who already aren't pulling their own weight on the ice. Kyrou is going to turn into very good NHLer. And like another guy said above, just because Fabbri has a two-injury past, that doesn't relegate him as driftwood. If he has and can maintain his health, he's easily a top nine, borderline top six winger who can play center. Dumping him now is way too premature.

Very true. I wasn’t trying to discredit him. But to be honest I was expecting just a little bit more from him this season and they way I looked at it was bura for fabs.

Yeah I expected more but he missed all of last season. Definitely can tell. He should be fine though

Add to that, he's missed two seasons with the same knee and the same ACL. Just psychologically hurdling the scary prospect of pushing it too far is not easy, let alone the physical healing component. Just read about the many athletes in different sports that have to recover from an ACL tear. They usually say trusting themselves to use their legs as they once did is often the biggest struggle for them. I can't blame them either. Million dollar careers dangling in front of you playing the game you love is something you don't want to blow if you can help it.
