I don't think they would. Lowry is an ideal third line value.

Best offer on Brassard from the Jets in my opinion would be Copp + 2nd Round pick. Brassard has regressed and would not be an upgrade at 2C over little right now. He would be a fantastic 4C for depth purposes. That’s why I don’t think the jets would be willing to give up any more than that

Pittsburgh needs a 3C back in the deal. I know you said flip the pick for one but it isnt that easy.

with salary retention sure. His cap hit is a bit high but we would be happy to have him at around a3 million cap hit

This season wouldn't be an issue, but the Jets wouldn't want to retain on his salary for 2019-20 season. Might not work.
