Florida's got some good two-way lines, and Dadonov seems to fit in well with that. They're fun to watch, and I think the way he's scoring, it's probably worth giving up someone I think will soon be just as good, in Burakovsky.

Not bad at all...though I thought Phase One was "collect underpants"...?
In all honesty I would send DSP not Jaskin, and Geisser and not LucaJo if Dadonov is all the Caps get back.
Geisser, sure.
Here's a look at Devante Smith-Pelly's seven playoff goals with the Capitals:

I like the one where he's falling down on his back and still aims his shot, perfectly. Almost reminds me of someone, a little bit. I just thought it was such a great underdog story line, him going from having his contract bought out, to being a playoff hero, in the same year.
Jaskin's corsi is way higher than DSP, but DSP has taken 50% more shots than Jaskin has. That makes me wonder whether the improved puck possession stats are partly a result of linemates, or if I just haven't noticed that Jaskin is a brilliant playmaker who elevates everyone around him. Either way, Smith-Pelly has much more trade value. Teams like Dallas, Edmonton, and Vancouver are looking for wings who score goals. They won't all get Burakovsky.
