The best two players in this trade are Kapanen and Zaitsev. Dubas probably already doesn't answer anything from Chiarelli already, but this would definitely be a, "Please delete my number" offer.

Well I do agree leafs don't do this trade for sure haha I honestly don't even think zaitsev at this moment is even better then Russell makes 500k more an makes way more mistakes then again the leafs are playing him in a situation where he will not thrive he's just not a good d man at all

Okay so you don't watch Leaf games, Zaitsev rarely makes mistakes, when he gets burned its due to Gardiner being Gardiner. (He is really bad in his own end and often) Russell isn't good at all, he wouldn't even make the Leafs roster. He's left handed and Rielly, Gardiner and Dermott are way ahead of him. There just is not desire for Russel in TO.

Great point! So what we should expect is him to call up and say, I hear that Zaitsev kid is awesome, how about I trade Draisaitl and retain 4 million so the salaray is a wash. Chiarelli is also going to throw in a 1st rounder just to make sure TO doesn't back out.
