Interesting! If Duchene agrees to an extension, a few teams would pay a lot more. Also he might be worth more than Bjorkstrand and Nash even if he doesn't resign.
Maybe a guaranteed 2019 1st and another conditional 2020 1st for the re-signing?
Definitely would give CBJ a new look though!

Jensen is worth more than a 4th.

If I was the blues I wouldn’t accept that and try my luck in the offseason to sign him.

If I was CBJ I wouldn't accept the blues deal.
Bob is extended is worth Klim and Schenn. That's not the part I have a problem with.
It's the Cap dump of Allen.
Blues aren't really giving up enough to take on that contract.
You want a better goalie and to dump cap space you have to pay up for it.
Maybe add a 1st for the cap dump.
CBJ doesn't need Allen. They are only taking him to do the blues a cap space favor.

Nick Jensen trade is a joke, First off he's not on the trade market. Detroit plans on resigning him this summer. And a 2021 4th is garbage Jensen is worth a 2019 3rd or late 2nd or no deal.

I don't think that's enough for Duchene. Nash has been pretty bad this season, Bjorkstrand also has some room for improvement, and that first is likely going to be lower than 20th pick...

Duchene as a rental fetches at least a player and a 1st rounder. Make the 1st conditional and you end up with a dial tone..

Keep Nash & dump Wennberg. It is absolutely KILLING the Jackets to have a 2nd/3rd line center making $5M with only 1 goal at the halfway point and he can’t shoot the puck on goal more than ONE TIME every other game.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. He made the 1st conditional, I said you'd need a guaranteed 1st and then add another 1st if he re-signs

I see. If I were the Sens I'd ask for a 3rd that becomes a 1st if he signs.
