Three Free Agent Signings AND Three Trades

Description
This would be a the ideal offseason in my books. Canucks draft primarily defencemen this draft to restock the back end with D prospects and push forward with some big ufa signings. There are already offensive prospects in place who may be ready in a year or two and a few strong goalies. Adding some pieces like this would put this team into a strong position until those prospects mature.

Dont think the Stone signs with in Van, but all the cap hits seem to be bang on.
Also dont really see the need for Van to trade for a guy like pysyk? Especially if he isnt going to be in that top 6!

Vancouver doesn't need cap space so I don't see the need for the 3rd deal.

Stone should be our number target this offseason, I really like the signings and would give us a legit top 2 lines with Ferland/Stone. I think stralman could be the perfect fit with Hughes behind Edler/ Tanev.

Gaudette is pushing hard and think he will be ready by next year. Would like to give Zack Macewan a long look as well.

Good job!

I agree on Gaudette, would love to see us move Sutter to make room for him eventually and spend that money on the top 6 forwards or blueline. But figured for now this would give us more depth as those prospects can still fill in when we get injuries, which is pretty much guaranteed on this team.

For the blueline, I think if the Canucks had 8 guys capable of playing on any given night it would be ideal for winning long term through the regular season. This teams weakness for years has been depth, when our top guys are down we cant win. If we had those 8 guys on the blue line and others like Juolevi, Biega or Gaudette, Macewan in the system capable of being called up we would be in good shape for surviving injuries.

The last trade I made with Carolina was to upgrade their pick, help them reach the cap floor and dump cap to sign Stralman.
