WPG is pretty high on him. They would probably need either a top 15 pick or a top rental + cap relief

This is disastrously bad. Why people undervalue Vesalainen that much? He's a top prospect. Around the same value as Suzuki is.

Winnipeg has alot they need to do over this summer, Trouba, Myers, Laine, Connor and a few other players need to be signed. with already 59m in cap hit and not much coming off the books, so you can input some more players in the mtl if you want they are in real bad need of some cap space though.

Let Myers, Chairot and Tanev walk and replace them internally. If the Jets prospect pool is as good as so many think it is then there should be young guys ready to step in and compete for those positions. Trade Trouba for a young defense prospect and trade Copp for a return.
Laine might be bridge deal bound so won't come in as high as we think. As for K.Connor well he's probably gonna come in around $6-7, he's awesome but his numbers are inflated from playing with Scheiffele and Wheeler.
I think the Jets should keep Vesalainen and stay far away from expensive trade deadline rentals, they rarely payoff.

Not a trade Montreal would be interested in. Vesalainen has done nothing on Small Ice. Big risk
